The University of Chicago ranks seventh in the latest 2017-18 Division III Learfield Directors' Cup standings, which were announced on Thursday.

UChicago led the way among the four University Athletic Association (UAA) teams ranked in the Directors' Cup top 15, which includes Washington University-St. Louis (10th), Emory University (11th) and Carnegie Mellon University (15th).
Johns Hopkins University resides atop the standings with 383 points. NCAA Division III features 450 schools among its membership.
The Learfield Directors' Cup is a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. The points system is based on each institution's postseason finish in up to 18 sports (nine women's and nine men's).
